This line provides a complete solution from "cells→black mass, Cu, and Al," designed for the pretreatment of NCM Li-batteries. Pretreatment offers options: drying, drying and pyrolysis, or pyrolysis only, followed by reduction treatment to greatly increase the recovery rates of Li, Ni, Co, and other metals in subsequent hydrometallurgical leaching processes.

Product Description

This line provides a complete solution from "cells→black mass, Cu, and Al," designed for the pretreatment of NCM Li-batteries. Pretreatment offers options: drying, drying and pyrolysis, or pyrolysis only, followed by reduction treatment to greatly increase the recovery rates of Li, Ni, Co, and other metals in subsequent hydrometallurgical leaching processes.

Technical Featurese

■ Low-Temperature Pre-treatment of Battery Liquid + Efficient Medium-Temperature Pyrolysis of Organics:The equipment adopts a combined method of low-temperature drying and medium-temperature pyrolysis, which can more effectively remove organic substances such as electrolyte and binder.

■ Efficient Medium-Temperature Pyrolysis of Organics: Developed by Top Leader Tech, this efficient integrated pyrolysis technology for organics operates in an oxygen-free environment. Within the temperature range of 400-600°C, the binder and separator decompose, thereby weakening the bonding force between the electrode material and the current collector. This results in pure electrode material and achieves the mutual separation of various components in spent lithium-ion batteries.

■ High-Value Metal Reduction at Elevated Temperatures:By developing high-temperature reduction technology for valuable metals and corresponding heat treatment systems, and using hydrogen, carbon, or natural gas as reducing agents, the reduction system temperature is raised to 600°C - 750°C. This causes the cathode material to react with the reducing agent, prompting lithium within the layered Li(NiCoMn)O structure to migrate to the surface, forming lithium hydroxide, lithium hydroxide monohydrate, and a small amount of lithium carbonate.
