ACME's New Generation of Aluminum Nitride Vacuum Sintering Equipment debuted at the Shanghai exhibition and sold out on-site
On March 24, 2026, the 18th China International Exhibition on Powder Metallurgy, Cemented Carbides, and Advanced Ceramics opened to great fanfare at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center. As a leading enterprise in the field of thermal processing equipment,ACMEshowcased its new generation ofaluminum nitride (AlN) vacuum sintering equipmentat the exhibition. Thanks to its cutting-edge technology and superior performance, the company became the center of attention at the event and secured on-site orders.

On display is the Model 6615aluminum nitride vacuum sintering furnace, which features a working chamber measuring 600 × 600 × 1500mm, a maximum load capacity of 800kg, and a maximum operating temperature of 2050°C, meeting the sintering requirements for advanced ceramic materials.

With the rapid development of industries such as next-generation semiconductors, 5G communications, and new energy vehicles, the demand for advanced ceramic materials is growing steadily. Aluminum nitride (AlN) ceramics, with their excellent thermal conductivity, electrical insulation, and high-temperature resistance, have become the material of choice for high-end components such as power semiconductor packaging and LED substrates.

Vacuum sintering equipment, as a key component in the production of aluminum nitride (AlN) ceramics, directly determines the density, purity, and mechanical properties of the ceramic products.Its working principle utilizes high-temperature heating and atmosphere control to induce diffusion and rearrangement of powder particles at elevated temperatures, ultimately forming a ceramic body with high thermal conductivity and a low coefficient of thermal expansion. Consequently, the equipment must meet extremely high standards regarding temperature control accuracy, atmosphere flow patterns, temperature uniformity, and resistance to thermal erosion.

The new-generation aluminum nitride vacuum sintering equipment developed byACMEemploys heat-flow-field coupling optimization technology to achieve temperature uniformity of ≤±3°C within a large chamber, ensuring consistent performance of ceramic products. In terms of energy efficiency, the system utilizes DC heating combined with new heat-field materials and insulation structures to achieve high-precision matching control of power and temperature, resulting in an overall energy-saving efficiency improvement of more than 10%. At the same time, a degreasing system can be selected to realize the one-time degreasing and sintering treatment of ceramic products.
This equipment is not only used for vacuum and atmosphere sinteringprocessesof AlN/AlON ceramic products, but also supports AlN/AlON powder synthesis and sintering processes.
