ACME participated in the launching ceremony of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Science and Technology Industrial Park
On December 30, 2020, the launching ceremony of the "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Science and Technology Industrial Park" was held in Changsha. The relevant leaders of the Liaison Office of the Hong Kong Central Committee, the Hunan Provincial Government, the Provincial Political Consultative Conference, the Changsha Municipal Government, and the Yuelu Mountain Science and Technology City attended the launching ceremony. Form participated in this ceremony.
The establishment of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Science and Technology Industrial Park aims to undertake the scientific innovation resources and industrial projects introduced by universities in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and to incubate the industrial park and outstanding local enterprises in Hunan. During the event, ACME signed a cooperation agreement with the City University of Hong Kong and the Changsha Municipal Science and Technology Bureau on the 4D printing AION/AIN ceramic powder and product key technology research and application project of the Hong Kong City University Academician Lu Jian’s team.
On the basis of 3D printing, 4D printing adds an ability to change its characteristics and self-assembly over time or with changes in environmental parameters. When using 4D printing technology, the materials used can adapt and self-program to change the shape, and can automatically respond to changes in water, air or gravity, temperature, magnetism, etc., and become a preset model. It can be said that 4D printing technology has one more ability than 3D printing technology-deformation. The continuous maturity of 4D printing technology will lead us into a new industrial era.
Academician Lu Jian is currently the director of the Advanced Structural Materials Research Center of City University of Hong Kong, an academician of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences, and a fellow of the French National Academy of Technical Sciences. Academician Lu Jian’s team carried out research on the preparation of complex-shaped ceramic materials and revolutionary technology, which realized the 4D printing of ZrO2 ceramics for the first time, realizing a breakthrough of “from 0 to 1”. The 4D printing ceramic technology combines 3D printing, self-deformation assembly and Elastomer-derived ceramics have achieved breakthroughs in the shape complexity, mechanical strength, manufacturing cost, and ability to adapt to environmental changes in large-scale ceramic structures, providing a new opportunity for the 4D printing of AION/AIN ceramics, and ceramics for electronic products in the 5G era The preparation of materials provides new ideas. Dingli Technology has rich experience and solid foundation in the research and development process and equipment of high-performance oxide ceramics, nitride ceramics and carbide ceramics, and will provide process and equipment support for the research and development of this project. Carrying out research on the key technologies of 4D printing complex ceramic powder and products can realize the complete independent guarantee of raw materials, replace the import of key materials, meet the major needs of the country, and promote the precision manufacturing of high value-added ceramics in my country. The cooperation in the science and innovation project will give full play to the cohesive effects of resource sharing and integration of production and research among government, schools, and enterprises, and urge our province to connect with the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and comprehensively promote the implementation of the innovation-led and open-rising strategy.
