The PHV 5 K, PHV 10 K, PHV 20 K, PHV 30 K series pumps are of the two-stage rotary vane type, oil bath lubricated.

The flanged electric motor is coupled by means of an elastic coupling.

Cooling is achieved by forced air through a centrifugal fan.

An integrated check valve prevents the oil from rising and the air from returning to the chamber to be emptied during the stop phase.

The separation of oil mists from the exhaust air takes place in the TMF separator filter (optional). The abated oil is recovered by the pump by precipitation. This occurs when the machine is stopped or during its operation with maximum vacuum or with closed suction.

An adjustable Gast ballast prevents condensation inside the pump when small quantities of steam are sucked.

The PHV 5 K, PHV 10 K, PHV 20 K, PHV 30 K series pumps can only suck air and small quantities of water vapor and are suitable for evacuating closed systems or for operating at a constant vacuum up to 1 x 10-3 mbar (absolute)
