Only two make the cut | ACME in the 2022 Model Enterprise of industry-university-research Cooperation in China

Recently, the China Association for the Promotion of Industry-University-Research Cooperation announced the list of "China's Industry-University-research Cooperation Innovation Model Enterprises in 2022". ACME was selected for its outstanding achievements and comprehensive strength in industry-university-research cooperation innovation, technology research and development, and scientific and technological achievements transformation.

It is reported that China Industry-university-Research Cooperation Promotion Council is a high-level collaborative innovation service platform jointly established by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering and other relevant departments, universities, research institutes, enterprises and other government, industry-university-research circles. China's industry-university-research Cooperation Innovation Model Enterprise, a national award in the field of industry-university-research cooperation, aims to give full play to the leading and exemplary role of enterprises in collaborative innovation, improve the effectiveness of the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and enhance the core competitiveness and innovation of enterprises.

Driven by the needs of national major projects, ACME has been deeply engaged in the field of special materials and special thermal equipment for nearly 20 years, and has applied for more than 360 national patents, including 215 invention patents. It has presided over or undertaken more than 30 national and provincial major scientific research projects, won 19 provincial science and technology awards, and led in the completion of 19 national, industrial and group standards. It is a national key high-tech enterprise and a national key "little giant" enterprise.

As a research-oriented enterprise, ACME knows that innovation is the primary driving force for enterprise development, and industry-university-research cooperation is the key link of enterprise innovation-driven development. Over the years, ACME has established long-term, interactive industry-university-research partnerships with Tsinghua University, National University of Defense Technology, City University of Hong Kong, Central South University, Hunan University, Beijing University of Technology, Nanchang University, Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanxi Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences and other universities and institutions. It has set up innovation platforms such as state-level "Postdoctoral Research Workstation", "Hunan Key Laboratory of National Defense Science and Technology", "Hunan Engineering Laboratory", "Hunan New Thermal Equipment Engineering Technology Research Center", "Hunan Enterprise Technology Center", etc. Major innovation achievements and key technological breakthroughs have been made in metal additive manufacturing, high-purity carbon-based materials for third-generation semiconductors, ceramic-based composites and equipment, high-end vacuum heat treatment equipment, solid waste recycling equipment, and industrial green transformation and upgrading, providing support for the innovation and development of enterprises.
